APD hay is only fresh when you get the pet shops to specially order it for you.. i find orchard grass maintains its freshness longer..

Wellz.. I ordered my big box of APD before... it was from Little Pet Shop at Serangoon North... in fact..lots of the smaller pet shops don't stock the big box of APD... they'll only order it if you want it..

Maybe that's anderson's hay? anderson's hay is very nice and green..only, lots of stems..which the piggies tend not to eat..so wastage may outweigh cost savings ultimately..ah wellz

Pets Creations stocks the 5 lb APD hay, however, it gets sold out very fast, from my experience. I had to ask the sales person to reserve for me cos the new shipment came in and many pp had already ordered their share. The hay I get is green and fresh, maybe cos they sell it out very fast once they get in. They don't keep the hay stored somewhere.
