urban pets (www.urbanpets.com) sells oat hay which smells real good and some really green 2nd cutting ADP timothy hay.

Any one feed ur Gp APD pellets? i saw from urbanpets.com that the APD pellet can remove the smell of urine if fed often as it contains antioxidants....gd or not huh?

Frankly, if the cavy is healthy & has a good diet, its pee shouldn't be that smelly to begin with. But of course if u leave the bedding unchanged for a whole week, then it will stink lah.

i change once a week as they urine at the place wher the bottle is so i always shift the pos of the bottle then the urine is spread out...

hmm if u feed them sharksfin wonder their pee smell even better anot ? haha
I find the concept abit funny to me because maybe some cavies are outright smelly ? Feed them better food they dun smell as bad ?hmmm
i think the new online bunny store has them on discount now.

Went to Pet Safari today & saw Anderson's timothy hay. Not very leafy lor. The sample Daniel gave me last time also the same. Is mostly twigs which means its 1st cutting.

eh, i haven't changed the bedding at all for almost 2 weeks... doesn't really stink. they tend to urine at the water bottle area, then i'll mix tt around the cage, and it dries over a few days in the cage while mixed among the other dry ones.

It's not so bad with young cavies... but it'll get worse when they grow older..
