That means it first cutting liao. Like Kaytee. I notice Kaytee also a lot of stem. When a lot of stem means first cutting timothy hay. These are higher in fibre but cavies usually prefer second cutting which is more leafy.
Over here we have no choice. In US, their hay is labelled accordingly so we can buy either 1st or 2nd cutting. Here we have to see & feel to determine which is which.

And if your cavies are fussy, they may pull out all the orchard grass hay & leave the anderson brand one behind.

I'll most prob be trying Anderson hay next month, when I finish my Oxbow. So those who have already tried Anderson, is it okie? Everybody gives it at least a B rating?

It is 1st cutting timothy i.e. lots of stem & few leaves. If ur cavies likes this kinda hay then ok lor. Mine hate 1st cutting & took over a week to finish 1 rack of it.

lolz I dun really think so. But then, I actually think that it's quite true that for BC and Anderson hay, this guy has very very competitive rates. Few shops can beat his prices. That's simply a fact lor. So if I can get it cheap here, why go somewhere else?

Wat attracts me are his low prices PLUS he delivers. Imagine lugging a 13.3kg bag of BC up a bus & across an overhead bridge. Can die! Even though in NS we carried heavier stuff but that's in a pack on your back. This silly BC is in your arms!
