Went to Pet Safari today & saw Anderson's timothy hay. Not very leafy lor. The sample Daniel gave me last time also the same. Is mostly twigs which means its 1st cutting. i ordered 2 kg frm him, my pigs totally wasted the hay, eat only the leaves and left the stems, they refuse to eat the stems, next morning the stems became the bedding... >:(rather no hay den eat stems.......

It's strange, huh? GPs dun seem to like the stems... my newest guinea pig is not such a spoilt brat that he eats only the green hay..he eats the brown hay too..BUT, leaves the stems alone..lady at pet shop told me it's chins who like stems...anyone who owns chins to confirm this?

Its rabbit that like stem. So for cavy is better to buy Ochard Grass (less stem)

eh, i haven't changed the bedding at all for almost 2 weeks... doesn't really stink. they tend to urine at the water bottle area, then i'll mix tt around the cage, and it dries over a few days in the cage while mixed among the other dry ones. seriously i need to refresh the bedding like every 3 days.. they pee so much! they bedding is so wet!! if dun refresh then the white mouldy thing will grow.. wah piang.. this BC reli absorbs to well liao..
