Guess you'll only know when you give him a bath..has he had a bath yet? And how's his appetite? Is he used to eating pellets yet?

Bath him twice already. He likes bathing. Now he is totally on solid pellets. I am using Cavy Performance cos wanna fatten him up. Now the crusty stuff at his mouth area started dropping off but the skin underneath very red. The other parts of his skin is pinkish

Vanessa.. someone did mention something in another thread called CLEANSE. It's supposed to help heal wounds etc but i'm not sure how effective it is... here's the link: www.reinbiotech.com/rein/reinpet_cleanse.jspAnd how're his skin mites? Yeah..i was about to suggest he go on to cavy performance instead.

Oh Vanessa,
If you're too busy with your other pets and your mom's breathing down your neck cos of the O levels this year, I can help you to look after him. Can get an extra cage for him as well.

No idea yet..think she hasn't checked this forum and I lost her hp number cos I lost my phone a few days ago. She did ask, the day she got him, whether I would like to adopt him after he's well, and I agreed. But I think she's pretty busy with school and so many pets at the moment, so of course I don't mind looking after him. So long as it's after this week cos I've got 3 midterms coming up. But of course, if she's too attached to the piggy, then I won't interfere...

Anyone have any idea why Vanessa earlier mentioned that this sick piggy stinks?

Now, i have 2 piggies and 2 bunnies, I think I can manage for now at least. He's got a nice big cage now. He was smelly cos he step on his own poo which was very soft, now he's fine though.

No prob! I'm glad he's getting steadily better. Hope he gets completely well soon.. but vet fees must be quite expensive man.. this pig plus the two rabbits.. Your mom's not still against you keeping him, right? But I marvel at the space your place has if you're gonna foster Spin's friends rabbit...
