The pet shop owners took care of him for a week. He was in worse conditions than this when they found him.

Tomorrow is his appointment at Namly. Abandone...sigh...my mum said put him in a box and leave him downstairs, cos he looks like 'he's dying and he stinks'. Suck right? She said that about aggressive bunny too. The bunny is going to be spayed on 25 Feb. Obviously she doesn't know that I am bringing him to the vet.

Why can't aggressive bunny be spayed tom since you're going tom? How come the poor gp stinks?? is it some infection? but it's MEAN to leave him in a box downstairs!! That's like being abadoned a second time!

I read online somewhere that a gp's feet can be deformed if its nails have never been cut..maybe that's why the pig sometimes doesn't walk properly?? Has its nails been cut before?

Ok... it is mites..according to Dr Ling... she prescribed antibiotics..but is that enuff?? and that also doesn't explain why he only eats pellets crushed in water.. might be a calcium deficiency...so his teeth aren't strong enough to chew the pellets properly?

That's what I asked Vanessa too.. but her reply didn't contain any relation to the answer.. that's how it is sometimes..u get carried away saying what you want to say and you forget the question..I think the weird eating habits are more of a concern, actually... and something also tells me he was abandoned by a pet shop..

Now, he's eating half pellets mixed in water and the other half is dried pellets. haveto hand feed him if not he won't eat. Dr. Ling did a skin scrape and gave him an injection. She prescribed anti-biotics. He has Skin Mites. The next appointment is on the 25th. His nails hes been cut but the quick is very long probably because his nails haven't been cut in a long time. The more frequently you cut the nails, the shorter the quick becomes.

ahh..that's good..at least he's taken to eating dry pellets.. and he must be pretty tame if he allows you to hand feed him. Has he begun to put on more weight?

I think so. When Dr. Ling weighed him, he was only 460g. Now, dont' know, but he seems to look a bit fatter. My mum will kill me if I use the weighing scale to weigh him.
