i'm currently feeding my pigs oxbow orchard grass, but now that pets arcade stocks hay-pro, i'm wondering if i should make a switch over to hay-pro.
has anyone calculated which is more value for money? any comments about quality of each type/brand of hay?

Oxbow's cheaper if you buy the big bag...Hay pro only comes in one size.. Aquila buys fresh timothy used for horses at the turf club... he gets it from the pet shop near his place.. 8 bucks per packet (not sure how much), and $20 for 3 packets..it looked VERY fresh, green and leafy to me..much better than oxbow and hay pro..cos it's FRESH... no brown at all!

Saw Hay Pro at Pet Safari. Looks good but problem is if you compare it with Oxbow orchard grass, its more costly.

Quality of Hay Pro varies too, I think..I once saw some at a pet shop..can't rem which..and it didn't look fresh to me... to those of you who've used hay pro before..how's the response..?

No lah you guys wrong. 2 bag of Haypro is equivalent to oine big of 40oz. Price wise is almost same. I am currently using haypro also, quality is very good. Little stem and green also. But must make sure to finish fast or else become brown.

the 500g haypro is selling at $9 per pack leh. 2 means $18. but orchard grass is $16.70 for 1134g.. which means oxbow is still cheaper. unless haypro sells in bulk, if not i think it's ex lor
