I can't remember if it was Marukan or Wild or Minimal that sells packets of toilet sand..pretty expensive..like almost 10 bucks a packet.. the packet's pink and white, and the sand is white..well, not really sand..more like little balls of erm..pellets? It's supposed to be used for rabbits' litter pan.. does anyone know if it's safe for cavies?

Firstly, most cavies don't know how to use a litter pan properly. Secondly, if I'm not wrong this is a clumping sand? If it clumps up then better not to use.
Frankly, I never liked these wierd things. I'd rather play safe with Breeder's Choice.

if u jus use in the litter pan maybe still ok, but den they canot b litter trained lorr. evem if they are, also still have accidents here n there one.
its also sumthing like bath sand for hamsters rite??
but if u intend to use as bedding, its expensive, and also if eaten, it might b toxic. at least we know BC is paper, so non toxic.

I was only thinking of using it in the litter pan.. thought it might make litter pan easier to clean. Not sure if it's clumping (the entire packet was in japanese). But it was meant to be used with the kind of rabbit litter pan which has a cover over the top with holes on it.. so...i guess it's better not to use?
