I have 3 years experience rearing gps & abt 4 yrs rearing hamsters. I've 2 gps of my own now.
Cage & water bottle must be provided by the owner. Foodwise the owner should provide pellets & hay. Veggies & fruits will be provided by myself. As for bedding, I use wood shavings for my gps. So if the owner has no problems, i'll use that as bedding for their pets.
I'll charge each gp/hamster $8 a day. E-mail angelic8026@hotmail.com for enquiries. Thanks

sorry but i gotta say cos when i started i was using wood shavings too. the best combination of bedding since i started was to mix BC with softwood... the effect of the bedding was quite good.. not too wet after absorbing all the pee... but after tt cos pple condemn softwood like mad.. oso i gotta find out the truth behind the woods.. so i switch to BC..kekeke ;D Frankly speaking after switching to BC for months.. i realise tt it absorbs too well until i see the bedding is soaking wet man after a few days.. i have to clear the bedding once a week and refresh it every few days if not the bedding gets mouldy and it's disgusting leh..

FYI, I asked Dr ling of Namly clinic & she said wood shavings are better than cat litter. The only advise she gave me is to sieve the wood shavings to get rid of the small particles which i do everytime I clean their cages.

I think that by cat litter, Dr Ling was probably referring to those dangerous silica based ones.. like Cat San etc..not paper based ones like BC...
