She was abt 3ys 6mths...pretty young considering their lifespan. 2 weeks ago, she had diahhorea. So we brght her to the vet..he gave antibiotics & kaolin. The vet did a faecal test but no parasite was detected. After that she seemed getting better. Then last week. she just stopped eating & drinking. We force feed her with baby food & water. Brght her to the vet 2 days later.doc said she's in critical cond & put her in 24hr observation. That evening he called & said her tummy v.bloated & condition didn't improve. The next morning he called to say that she had fits & passed away. He did 15mins CPR but no use. I went down few hrs later to speak to the doc personally. I asked him a report on her & he explained that there was a parasite called eimera which caused havoc in her system. it cld be caused by anything from food to water to bedding. But if the gp is healthy, then she'll be ok. But since snowy was already weak, she was the target. So the parasite was the main cause. The next day I brght my other gp Brownie for full check up. No parasite was detected & declared healthy. So now I'm looking for a companion for her. I really miss Snowy alot...

I understand your pain too, having lost a beloved piggy suddenly. Sometimes, things can't be helped, though I wonder if things could've been different had the vet detected something earlier. Miss my dearly departed baby too..Don't take it too hard. I'm sure they're at peace now and happy...
