What do you guys mean by a whining noise? all my guinea pigs hate to be put on their backs.. they'll try to flip themselves over..and sometimes i worry they may sprain their backs..  ..so i avoid doing that.. |

i don't think piggy is  lah. does she make any sound when you stroke her? Nope she doesn't. Though she gets very excited when she smells carrots and broccoli, she doesn't make any sound. She is getting used to being stroked now, but also doesn't make any sound. She doesn't make any sound when I rub her tummy also....honestly I'll give anything to hear her wheek...heh but i'll still love her as much even if she doesn't.... |

Oh boy.. so you've yet to hear the slightest clue of a sound of ANY sort from piggy? no purring or rumbling or chirping or anything..? one way is to introduce another piggy to her.. most piggies rumble when they first meet..

Precisely...I haven't heard anything from her yet. So much wish she'll just wheek a little. The rumbling sound is not anything territorial? Some kinda self-intro?
Yeah I am looking for a cage mate for Piggy, and would very much wanna get another Dutch Peruvian...any recommendations mel?

Haha.. Rusty oni likes being stroke at his sides leh.. Haha.. But den, he too cute leh.. Everytime I rub his sides, he will purr den stretch his head forward.. Den after that popcorn around his cage.. haha...
