Hello folks, I'm new here. Here are the three piggies I adopted recently. Ninjaboy, Binky and Patches, respectively. Another picture Home! It isn't too hot or cold because the tub is placed in the balcony, under a shelter I made. There's another food dish hidden by this view. I feed them Oxbow Cavy Cuisine. Patches likes sleeping under the rack. I disturb him quite a lot. Patches is the most sociable one. Binky is the more untrusting. Ninjaboy is a bit of both. Patches like sleeping under the hayrack. My dog Hunter is super friendly, so no worries. Hunter plays with my Angora rabbit a lot. Right now, they have been administered Revolution because I just rescued two rabbits. Revolution has been administered to everyone actually. Precautionary measure. (Anyone interested to adopt two adorable rabbits? E-mail me at jawskie at gmail.com!) Patches and Ninja Boy are both about 1.5 years old and Binky is about 9 months old. All boys. They wheek quite a bit the moment they smell vege Even when my mom returns home with marketing. Ha!

Thanks for the compliments.... anyway, guess how I differentiate my rabbit pellets and my cavy pellets? Here's the one containing the Cavy Cuisine. Heheh!

Here's an update: The piggies are doing great. After experimenting with different cages and beddings, I figure that this is the most ideal for me and the piggies. (Ignore the rabbit. She was the previous occupant. She has now upgraded to a playpen.) Rationale is that since piggies aren't toilet trainable and BC ain't cheap and woodshavings are harmful, this is great! The set up is clean and the piggies needn't inhale any phenols. But yes, please comment if you think it might not work, etc. Here they are in the cage. I didn't think of taking photos until much later so a huge bunch of vege has since been decimated.

I'm thinking of using one of my rabbits' triangular pee tray, filling it up with BC for the pigs to use as a sofa kind of thing. Hmmm.

Yup, the poop drops through. I'd been experimenting with various rubber mats too. This one I bought from Sheng Siong. It's very hard and the holes are just nice. I have one that's really cheap but the holes are too small and another type where the holes are too big and the piggies would have difficulty walking upon. You've got gorgeous piggies

It's the one in the picture. There are those with bigger holes too. Easily obtainable from hardware stores.
