hey i saw this brand at a petshop at sgn nth too..selling at the same price...the shop assistant also recommended it to me cos she say its good for gp with sensitive digestive system. But i did'nt buy cos they dun have smaller packs. If got smaller packs, i can buy to let them try 1st...cos if buy the $17 pack & they dun like...berri wasted leh.

ya lor .me oso at 1st had the same view as u,if my gp not going to eat it then it is really a waste as price oso quite steep.but since the staff said that this is a good brand so just close one eye n try it lor. but luckily my gp likes it,n oso my gp not really picky for food, mostly if they dun like the food i will not top up the food unless they eat it.cos until that time they r hungry, they will eat whatever in their food bowl. 8-)which i count myself lucky.....heehee too bad they only have 2 kg size pack.they should do a trial size pack to let the people try b4 getting the big pack.

Same distributor as Breeder's Choice litter!
Adv is that there's no chemical preservative or animal byproducts. Protein is 17%, fibre 15%, calcium 0.8%, oil 4%, ash 6.5% & Vitamin C 800 mg/kg. It seems ok but its alfalfa based so those with older cavies might want to take note. BLADDERSTONES!!!!

I think it looks like dog kibble cos of the way it's prepared. They prepare this food the same way they prepare dog and cat kibble. The normal cavy or bunny pellets are not prepared this way. Burgess practises this. Apparently, there are supposed to be a number of advantages to pellets being prepared this way.

I just got this pellets yest, given FOC for trial I put a handful of this in my cavies food bowl. The bowl has some pellets, so I just want to know which one they will finish first. But looking from their reaction, they dont really touch the pellets. Its only one day try out, tonight I will check thei food bowl whether the new pellet finsih or the old one finish.

wow that is gd at least u can get the trial pack 2 try b4 u get it.cos other petshop outside dun even have the trial pack to let the gp try b4 the owner get it. cos some people dun want to spend that amount of $ to buy a big pack n later if the gp dun like to eat then it is a waste of $ n effort liao.

Whoah..... bad news! My gp didnt like the pellets, they left it untouch. All the food in the food bowl gone except Burgess pellet, I even found many pellets outside the food bowl. I will try to give it to them again.

They probably find it too oily. Its one of the few pellets that actually contains oil. Yuck! Try rubbing one against a piece of wax paper & see how much oil is left behind.

Yes, I read in a Rabbit forum that some rabbit owners dun want to try it cos it contains oil. Dunno why there is oil inside. But my rabbit likes it, and I'll be trying the guinea pig one, will see how they fare on this.
