Hi All,
I adopted whity couple of yrs ago, at that time he already got tilt head and need to trim his teeth monthly. i feed him vit c daily and his head is less tilt. recently his head become more tilt again, and seem like eating less n lost of weight, so i bring him to the vet. Dr chan from namly give me 2 medicine, although he a bit recovered, but anyone here know how to cure it.

I'm afraid this you'll have to consult a vet liao. Did Dr Chan ask you to bring her back for a check up? Also, do you give her enough hay? Usually if they have enough hay there is less chances of their teeth needing to be trimmed as they chew a lot. Hard vegetables like carrots are another option. Some ppl give chew sticks but not all cavies chew them.

My guinea pig is born disformed so actually his mother guinea pig wanted to bite him to death, but clover managed to save him. His teeth is grow in the wrong way, so no matter how much hay he ate also no use. still have to go to vet monthly

something similar, dr ling said mabbe something to do with the brain, so now i hand feed him with critical care

hand feed him indeed very difficult, but no choice, he been losing weight, and critical care is the only food that can boost his energy. lucky he like it a lot. born with brain and teeth problem is not his fault, he my precious pig.

he died on the 13 Nov 10pm after been sick for 3 weeks. I buried him my house downstair.
