Went to Dr ling yesterday. She told that my gps are healthy but advised me to give them vit C directly. Presently i'm using a multi-vitamin supplement.
1) How much Vit C to give daily?
2) What's the brand of Vit C liquid bottle? Where to buy?
3)Give Vit C directly by mouth?
4) Are you guys using pellets or mixes. I'm using mixes. My female guinea pig weighs 1.1kg. Normal or obese?

hi,
Daily vit C for a healthy piggy is 0.2ml of enervon-c for kids. Buy from any pharmacy Use a syringe to feed your piggy the vit. c. Your piggy's weight is normal, feeding pellets will be better, the piggy can't choose its favourite food and leave the rest alone. It is healthier. Do you feed your piggy hay? It is essential.

Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin so there is a very little chance of overdosing. But if u are worried u may check out with Dr Ling for the recommended dosage to give. For me I give them half a tomato a day each and vitamin water. Hope this helps.
