Keke, yup. I got a kitty. But I got her quite a while ago actually. She's now already almost 6 mths old. She gets along well with my dog. My dog let her bully one. She likes to bite and scratch my dog. But my cat doesn't get along with all the other pets. Can't help it, they're prey animals to her. That's why most of the time, she's not allowed near them at all, without supervision. Once, she escaped my attention and went off to play with a gerbil. The cage top was loose and she managed to grab it out. Lucky my bf caught her then, just as she was playing with it. She didn't eat it or anything, just trying to scratch and play with it. But scared us. Lucky the gerbil was okie. |

Umm, I dun think I'm the rich one, more like my boyfriend. Cos he's the one who pays for all the pets supplies every month. I only pay for the occasional vet visit and transport sometimes. But my bf is earning money now, so lucky it's not too much a drain on him. We spend abt $200 a month on the pets, it's actually not that expensive, cos I know other pp spend more than that, on lesser numbers of pets. Our pets dun really live in luxury I guess, just adequate life. Rusty, duprasis are fat tail gerbils. If you look in the Hamster & Gerbil Gallery in Ghost Town, you'll have seen it. I posted up pics of my female, Minnie. She's the pretty one, keke. |

icic...where did u get your kitty? stray or bought it from petshops? One of my good friends love cats...her bf loves them too...he got a few at home. Luckily your gerbil is fine my bf's dog also can't get along with my pigs. When he brings him over, he'll growl at them...i'm thinking of getting a dog in future but i'm afraid that it might scare my pigs...any advice? |

u've got to slowly introduce them to each other... but can't leave them unsupervised.. i think it also depends on the dog's personality.. my dog loves watching my pigs.. everytime it wheeks loudly when i'm not in the room.. my dog reaches the cage even before i do.. like guardian like that.. |
