Yeah, I heard about that CnC but I cant find the material. One of the member said that we can get it from IMM, but no time to go there. Actually I already bought a new cage for my cavy. It is the 100 Rabbit ferplast cage, dimension 100x50cm. Its a lot bigger than my old one. I have added one more cavy, and I felt that my current on is just nice for 3 of them. So are you using CnC also? Where do you get the material from? i used to get my grids in a warehouse in ubi, eastern side of the island but i heard from some members that they're not selling the grids anymore... evon bought her grids from IMM rusty.proboards6.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&n=1&thread=400as for the coroplast board, u can get it from any bookstore... in wheekwheek's webby, he mentioned that u can get the exact dimensions of the board u wan by emailin gekkheng@popularworld.com from popular bookstore.

ok cos ,i started a debate in cavy madness forum and quoted this size that is 65x35 cm is alright for two Gps,however they still say its too small.....i stood my ground that its already big and can fit in two piggies. They still prefer C n C cages. They said that store bought cages are too small and expensive.I dunno lah since thier one is ang moh one diff from S'pore.65x35 cm they still have place to run.But your cage is 60x30 and still it looks small,if its 65x35 then i think its ok.But i rather see them in you ferplast 100.Bigger better.By the way how's the new method(using rubber mat) coming around?

I disagree with you. What they say its true, 60x30 is a bit too small for 2. For one maybe just nice. Actually my new cage 100x50 can only accomodate 2 gp. But since this is the biggest cage I can found, so I have no choice to put 3 gp inside. I believe as long your gp can make a full round, then it can be consider as a good size. When there are too many gp, they will feel very cramp and can not run and rest comfortably. You should really see the CnC 4x2 size, its very big and spacious. I believe thats the correct size for cavy. anyway you can find the correct size at cavycages.com Rubber mat, so far so good. No problem there. Tomorrow I will change the whole cage.

i really am shocked as 100x50 for just two Gp's?That's really really big.65x35 for me is big as long as there are no
1)big shelters 2)corner litter pans 3)Big toys 4)big food bowls
if you include all these in then it'll become too small lah like your zoo zone cage......but to tell you the truth i like it better when they both were in the ferplast 100.And to me your ferplast 100 is great for 3 piggies no more no less. The cavy cages may quote big cages then my question is this then what is floortime for??Yes the cavies should not adjust to our clock since they have their own clocks of their own but a cage with sufficient room to run about is alright for me.They also say about the lack of time people have, to give piggies floor period. Then why you get a GP in the first place? If you don't have time then dun buy lah.....by the way some piggies won't even move outside of their cage as they are so tired runing that they don't have the energy left when we want to play with them......People mas say the reason of the piggies being afraid and so on, yes there is a possibility but my ex Gps dun even move when i bring them out for floor period eventhough the cage i had was a zoozone cage. And there were no shelter inside it.If a piggy really need the large space for running then it would have run laps when brought outside of the supposedly "small" cage.I take humans for example, some people live in one room flat others in bungalows. But what's the difference in these people besides of their economical status. No diff at all(ie:refering to health).Off course humans yearn for a bigger larger living environment but face it,if we live in too big an area we get so lonely and the area is wasted and only 'junk' fill them up.Only moderate space is enough for us.Even bungalows don't have living areas so big. That is filled by a garden,or even a parking space. So it really depends on the person. For me as long as you don't have the four things i listed down in a cage of 60x30 or 65x35 then it is ok.

You got the reason there, as long your cage is a bare bone cage without anything inside then it can be consider spacious. But I dont believe thats as a good environment, at least they should have a shelter. What do you use as a food bowl? Sometime I dont get what they meant by floor time. The moment I put my gp on the floor, they will just stun like a statue. I know they are scared thats why they dont want to move. Somemore there is a human presence that make them feel insecure, not like when they are in their cage. But I notice if I put the below my working desk, which is quite big. Then they will start running around, I believe this is due to the desk below are dark and there is a carpet. Actually whats the initial problem, is it cage size or floor time? Seems like you have argued on many diff things with them. But do remember gp may grow larger, and when that time come you will realize your cage become smaller. Anyway how old is your gp and how many of them. Maybe you can send me their picture and their cage, let me see how is the condition there

Salamander you have seen my zoozone cage (OLD) and my ferplast cage (new). Do you agree that ferplast is much better? I still think if we can afford and we got the place to put, we should always get the biggest cage out there for the gp. I saw those gp in the Pet Safari, its very poor leh. Especially those good breed gp stay inside the plastic compartment cage. It is so small, they cant even run. Talking about pet shop.....

yup the pet safari one is so cramped and somemore no ventilation. Actually i haven't got a piggy yet,i last time have but got to give up for certain reasons. You may read on another thread(advice needed)for the reasons.I'm going to get a Gp and this time i'm going to do it right.Off course my previous cage was a zoozone cage and it was pretty empty, except for the medium sized food dish and the hanging water bottle. Now it is used for Gerbils. So before i'm going to get a cage i better think and ask from other people first as i don't want the Gp cage to be empty just like my ex-cage.By the way how much does the ferplast 100 cage cost?
If you read my previous post i said that your ferplast 100 is great for three piggies no more no less.
